In consideration of membership in Rutherford County Blacksmith Association, Inc., a Tennessee nonprofit corporation (the “Association”) and the right to use the Association’s shop and participate in activities conducted or sponsored by or on behalf of the Association, I, for myself and my representatives, agents, heirs, successors and assigns, hereby release, forever discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Association, its directors, officers, members, instructors, employees, agents, representatives, attorneys, contractors, successors, and assigns for any and all claims, demands, rights, obligations, liabilities, damages, losses, and causes of action of any kind or nature, whether such be known or unknown or disclosed or undisclosed to me, and whether such arise in contact, tort, or otherwise from any against any and all liability for any loss or injury to person or property, including without limitation, death, which I or my guest(s) may suffer at any time while participating in blacksmithing activities offered, sponsored, or held by the Association. I understand and acknowledge that participating in blacksmithing is an inherently dangerous activity which carries with it significant risk of injury. I further agree that I will at all times while working in the Association’s shop wear appropriate safety glasses, footwear, and all other protective clothing; and, I will follow all safety rules posted and safety instructions given to me by my instructors and advisors. Use of the shop and participation in events and meetings are subject to membership in the AACB.
